Course Outline - Modules 1 - 3

Module 1 – The Nature of Hypnosis and the Mind.   Learn just what hypnosis is all about.  Gain the answers to …   What’s it like being in hypnosis?   How can I guide someone into a hypnotic state?   How suggestible are people?   How do we formulate suggestions that will help people?    Find out about the conscious and the subconscious mind and how we can use both to help change unwanted behaviours. Module 2 – The Magic and Power of NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming.  What is NLP and how does it work?  Experience the principles of NLP.  Begin to make a difference by learning techniques that help create a resourceful state so that new patterns of behaviour can occur.  Running a session using techniques :    Anchoring  Steins clenched Fist  Swish  Thought stopping     Module 3 – Empowering Change with Common Problems.   Become knowledgeable in working with the problems of:  Weight loss  Smoking Cessation  Understand how to plan and carry out a treatment programme for clients whom want to make changes in these areas. Coursework Each module has a manual, demonstration DVD's and handouts.   Module 1 also comes with a free book on hypnosis and hypnotherapy.   To pass the Certificate Course completion of Module 1 - 3 manuals, each to a minimum mark 55%, is required.

At the end of this course, you can    Join Month 4 of the Contemporary College face to face weekend Diploma Course in Integrative Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. Continue with Modules 4 – 6 to gain your Advanced Certificate where you can then gain insurance and begin to practice as a Hypnotherapist.
