Course
Introduction
The Year 1 Diploma course is open to all
students who wish to become professional
practitioners of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and
Counselling and who are looking for a sound and thorough
training to enable them to become eligible for
membership of the National Council of Psychotherapists
and the General Hypnotherapy Register at
practitioner level.
This programme provides and excellent background
for the development of students understanding
about hypnosis and therapy, practical hypnotic
skills and awareness of a wide range of
presenting problems.
Students will experience a vast range of
clinical and analytical hypnotic and
psychotherapeutic techniques that will support
the client in self-realisation and healing,
enabling them to find choices in the
way they
respond to life.
This course also
offers students a
Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills &
Theory.
Counselling and psychotherapy are mainly (although not
exclusively) listening and talking based methods
of exploring psychological and psychosomatic
concerns.
We feel that including this in your course will
give you greater depth to your work, both
through the counselling skills taught and the
theoretical knowledge of psychology and therapy.
Not every session with a client requires a
hypnotic intervention and so with basic
proficiency in counselling skills and theory,
you will find this naturally occurs.
|
In combining Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and
Counselling, you will not only have a greater
knowledge and competency in the field of
‘therapy’, you will also have a basic
qualification that can give you the option to
further train in Counselling specifically.
You will be taught basic counselling skills
which form an integral part of every
psychotherapy model and you will have an
introduction to the main theoretical approaches
to counselling and psychotherapy.
|
All students will be encouraged to find their
own path and explore those concerns that are
immediate and meaningful for them.
This course is open to all individuals
seeking a new career. Applications are usually
accepted at this level from those already in the
caring professions. However we also accept
applications at this level from those that can
demonstrate an awareness of the importance of
life experience.
Appreciating the pressures of modern life, time
and financial constraints, the training course
is conducted at weekends, one weekend per month
for 11 months.
The
training days are mainly experiential, and
commence from 10am until 4.30pm. There will be a
40-minute lunch break and 2 further breaks
throughout each day.
Throughout the training course, students are
encouraged to meet regularly between the course
dates. This is to enhance practice and gain
benefit from the exchange of information in
regard to practice and previous knowledge from
those students already in the caring
professions.
Taken in its own right the cost of the course is
£2040
plus VAT. This
is divided into an initial registration fee of
£199.75 and
students can opt to pay for the remaining course
fees over 11 monthly payments of £199.75.
Students that have completed the 4 Month
Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis & NLP that
wish to continue onto this Diploma course can
join at month 5. The remaining course fees are spread over the remaining 7
months at £199.75 per month.
Payments can also be made in full and receive a 5%
discount if paid prior to the start date
of the course.
|
CCTS offers a Credit/Debit card facility. A 4%
surcharge applies to all transactions.
The registration fee is refundable for
