Advanced Diploma in Integrative Hypno-Psychotherapy (Diploma in Counselling Part 1)
This course is run over 4 modules of 3 months each. Each module is run in rolling sequence and students are able to enter the course at any stage.
For example: Students may finish their Year 1 Diploma course in July and the next module running for Year 2 is module 4 starting in September. Students would start on module 4 and then continue on to module 1 next.
The following outline of the course is a general one. The course is subject to continuous evaluation and alteration.
Module 1 - Weekends 1-3
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy - CBH
- Hypno-Science: The Brain, Stress Responses and Common Disorders - Depression, PTSD, OCD, Panic and Anxiety Disorders.
- Advanced Suggestion Therapy: Advanced Inductions and Deepeners, Post Hypnotic Suggestion work.
- Techniques: Confidence & Self Esteem, Working with Anxiety - Advanced Swish, CID.
- Working with clients: Assessment. Treatment Planning. Beginning, Middle and End of therapy and the therapeutic relationship.
Module 2 - Weekends 4-6
NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming
- Revision of the Systemic NLP. The Meta Model. The Milton Model
- The art of state management. Submodalities. Modelling. Mind lines. NLP Mastery
- Using NLP with clients
Module 3 - Weekends 7-9
Advanced Analytical Hypno-Psychotherapy
- Advanced Regression Techniques: The Affect Bridge, The Language of Abreaction.
- Progression Techniques: Calibrating Time and Sequential Integration techniques.
- Advanced Hypnoanalysis: The Inner Child and The Inner Family, Analytical Hypnohealing, symbolic analysis, transactional hypnoanalysis, Voice dialogue.
- Working creatively with clients.
Module 4 - Weekends 10-12
Specialist Psychotherapy
- Group therapy - The theoretical aspects to group work, aims of group work. Running a group.
- Working with Children - The Childs Internal process, the goals for working with children, the process of counselling chidren, child-therapist relationship, the SPICC Model.
